My dear friend (of over 30 years), Danica (42 years old) has been diagnosed with a brain tumor that is not able to be operated on in Germany. She has already been through chemo and radiation therapy with no success. We have found a doctor at the Mayo Clinic that specializes in these surgeries and he is willing and able to perform the surgery and hopefully remove the tumor completely with no lasting effects to Danica. She has a loving husband and 2 children, and a lot more life to live. Her attitude is one of gratitude and positivity. Unfortunately, her insurance will not cover any expenses, since the procedure will take place in the USA. The cost of the surgery alone is close to $200,000. It is scheduled at the Mayo Clinic on November 7, and we are hoping you will contribute if you can, to help with some of the expenses.
