Hi, my name is Danielle but most know me as Dani or Dani Mae. I am a United States Navy Veteran, a mother and a spouse. Most people are going to say I can’t believe she is asking for anything let alone help because I have prided myself on doing things the hard way. Things might not of been perfect but things were getting better until Jan 20th when I fell at work. I suffered a head injury and a partial shoulder tear. During my third week out, I was called by my work and fired ( for not being happy there). Even from this I tried pushing through and just being positive and healing. I was 10 months into not healing with Post Concussive Syndrome and a shoulder not healing well when tragic news hit again. Cancer. I had a mass growing in my uterus so hysterectomy was the newest fix. I was unfortunately without work insurance and my VA application has just been started. With my surgery complete and more healing needed, my debt is increasing beyond what I can even start to tackle. And today my check engine light came on and my transmission is broke. I know I am asking a lot from friends, family and my community but any amount will help get me and family back on our feet.
