Help Dani & Reese start over after flood.

Hello lovely people, I'm Danielle, my child's name is Reese. I've been working hard to keep a roof over our head since I was made redundant in 2020 due to the pandemic. 10 weeks ago, I fell off at ladder at work, breaking my arm and cutting my income by half. 4 days ago, Saturday 27 February 2022, our home was completely submerged by floodwater. Hit after hit has whittled us down to bare bones financially and we need help. If you're able to make a contribution to our kitty to assist with the cost of finding a new rental property, moving, replacing wardrobes, desk and desk chair for my young adult artist Reese, toiletries, kitchen contents, and food,  we would greatly appreciate any small amount you can spare. The early stages of clean up have begun in earnest, we're in shock from the experience, the frantic packing up and moving as much as we could in the middle of the night, wading through flood water for hour, after hour. Life changed so quickly, to something we no longer recognise. It's humbling and quite humiliating having to ask for financial assistance, it's not an easy or comfortable thing to do. But this time around, we do need to hope and rely on the kindness, not only of strangers, but that of my friends and family also. Every little bit matters, even if it is to share this request.  We're exhausted, numb, and overwhelmed by what has happened, the reality of the loss, I can't think of what the future looks like, it's just one foot in front of the other That's all I can manage for now.
