2024 Deadliest Weather disaster happened in Mayotte where Dani k 's Mum, brother, aunties, cousins, and many childhood friends with their families are still living there.

On December 14th, Cyclone Chido devastated Mayotte, destroying 90% of the island. Dani K’s family is among those affected, with no access to water, electricity, or telecommunications. Many have lost their homes and loved ones.
