Help Dani help Charlie get well!

My name is Janet and I met Danielle through our shared love of dogs and commitment to Pupstarz Rescue. Over her years of work for the rescue, Dani has helped so many animals find their forever humans and humans find their treasured furry companions. Through it all, her own Pupstarz alum, Charlie, has been by her side and a tolerant host to the parade of animals that she fosters personally.

Now Danielle and Charlie need this circle of helpers to help them out.

Last week, little Charlie was diagnosed with gallbladder mucocele, and underwent surgery to save his life. His gallbladder (enlarged to the size of a clementine! for comparison, a human gallbladder is hardly that big) was removed and he remains in the hospital under careful watch to make sure he navigates the post-surgery time period, when most of the risks for this type of surgery show up, such as the belly fluid and pancreatitis he is now experiencing.

He is getting the best care and Danielle is super grateful to all the doctors and nurses at VERG, who are keeping her updated every day.

As you can imagine, this care is expensive. Even with pet insurance, the bills are climbing and Danielle's savings have been obliterated.
