Dani’s Fight for a Pain-Free Life

Hi, my name is Abby, and I’m reaching out for help for my sweet fur baby, Dani. If you know me personally, you know how much Dani means to me and how difficult her life has been since 2023 when she tore both her CCLs (like human ACLs) in her hind legs—an injury that began a long, emotional, and costly journey.

After many months of vet visits, x-rays, and saving every penny I could, I was finally able to move forward with her surgeries in 2024. In April, Dani had a TPLO surgery on her left hind leg that healed beautifully. I was so hopeful to see her walk normal again. Then, in August, she had a second TTA surgery on her right hind leg that unfortunately failed. Instead of running and playing, Dani is now in severe pain and unable to use her leg at all. It’s been absolutely heartbreaking to watch her suffer, especially after everything we’ve already been through.

She now faces further medical treatment to try to save her leg, but I’ve exhausted all my financial resources. All future appointments, treatments, procedures, medications, etc. will be completely out of pocket, and the costs, combined with the bills from her previous surgeries, are more than I can manage alone. I’m at a financial breaking point.

It’s hard for me to ask for help but I want to give Dani the quality of life she deserves.
