Help Dani Escape Trafficking Nightmare
Donation protected
Coming to America is a dream for a lot of folks around the world.
For my friend Dani (Danielle Schorer) , that dream turned into a nightmare. Dani has been trying to get to the United States for years now, and when she was presented with an opportunity to work for a family in Vancouver, WA, she jumped at the opportunity. Unfortunately, for my friend, They were not good people. They told her that they would help her get her work visa and green card and get legal in the United States. Well, they let her visa run out until she was illegal here in the United States. Then decided to start threatening her with calling the police because she was here illegally and telling her that they had connections with law-enforcement and stuff like that to intimidate her into staying and being quiet, she had to hide when they had guest over, she never got paid for her work for them…
When we started taking all the pieces and putting them together, we realize that she had been trafficked.
Of course, the first thing we did was call the national human trafficking hotline the one 800 number with the federal government. They told us to call the police and the police would get her to a safe space for the night until we can get her asylum.
So we called the police. The police came and picked her up. Had her gather only some of her things together and dropped her off promptly at the local Starbucks… Right where her traffickers could go back and get her if they wanted to and do horrible things to her.
My friends and I have rushed together to get her out of that situation. We managed to get her hotel for the night and an airline ticket out of the state into Missouri to stay with another friend of ours. This is not a long-term solution. This is temporary we need to get her on her feet. We need to get her asylum and everything else that she will need to be able to stay in America, especially knowing everything that she’s gone through this woman deserves it.
she is starting over with 1/3 of the clothes that she started off with none of the electronics that she needs here. She has no phone. She has nobody in America, except for a few friends that she has made online. This poor woman needs our help and she needs to see that America is not this cold empty dark place. All they wanna do is hurt her we’re better than that. Look at her on her feet healthy and safe.
please help. She is a good person and deserves so much better than this.
