Help Dana’s family evacuate to safety and pay medical bills

Donation protected
Dear compassionate donors,

We are reaching out to you on behalf of a Palestinian family from Gaza in dire need of assistance. The family consists of three members facing challenging health circumstances, and they urgently require your support.

In addition to the medical conditions explained below, they also require money to evacuate family members.

To breakdown Dana’s costs:
-5000 USD is the money they borrowed to evacuate Dana’s husband from a family that is still in Gaza right now. The family needs the money back ASAP as they’re trying to evacuate now
-15000 USD to evacuate Dana’s father and two remaining brothers iwho are still in Gaza. Her father has recently phoned Dana crying, saying he needs to evacuate.

Dana and Mahmoud’s daughter, Hayat, is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and requires specialised care, specific dietary needs, and essential vitamins.
Here is a photo of Hayat before the war

Hayat has elevated concentration of ammonia in the brain, is celiac(and therefore can only eat a gluten free diet, which is expensive), and suffers from speech impediment that has only worsened after the past seven months of war.

Dana and her husband Mahmoud want to provide their daughter with speech therapy asap as she has reached a dangerous stage of inability to communicate her needs and resorts to harming herself to attract attention(eg banging her head until she bleeds) in addition to medication

Here is Hayat at the beginning of the war on 10/09, when the ceiling fell from above and they survived the bombing.

This was their street during the war.

Their neighbour suddenly got bombed one time at night when they were sleeping:

Hayat’s father, Mahmoud, is battling Type 1 diabetes and requires a beta cell transplantation in the United States to improve his condition and enhance his quality of life.

Mahmoud takes insulin intravenously when he enters a diabetic coma.

Mahmoud and the family had to live in this tent in Gaza before they were evacuated to Cairo:

Hayat was very happy when her dad Mahmoud arrived in Cairo with the money he had to borrow from his family…

The mother, Dana, is suffering from blood cancer and has been deprived of treatment for the past 6 months due to the repercussions of the war.

Dana’s teeth fell out after chemo

Dana needs to get insulin when she gets tired.

During the war, because Dana was not receiving any treatment, she was always tired and had to live on solutions.

Here are Dana’s medical reports:

Dana always has symptoms of blood clots…

The financial burden of medical treatment, especially the beta cell transplantation in the United States, is overwhelming for the family.

Therefore, we are appealing to your generosity and compassion to contribute towards covering the costs of their medical expenses and providing them with the necessary support during these challenging times.

We understand that the estimated costs for such medical procedures can be substantial, including the beta cell transplantation. Therefore, any contribution you can make, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in alleviating the suffering of this family and providing them with hope for a better future.

We are more than willing to provide any additional information or clarification regarding the family's situation and the donation process.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your support will make a meaningful impact on the lives of this Palestinian family from Gaza.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Dana and the fundraising team
