Our family is facing a medical emergency, and we are asking for your help. Dana, my sister-in-law, recently underwent testing for heart issues. The doctors discovered several blockages, and she was admitted to the hospital immediately. She is now scheduled for open heart surgery this Wednesday, and will be out of work for a minimum of 6 weeks—possibly up to 12—as she recovers. This sudden situation has put a major strain on their family financially.

My brother works, but his income alone isn’t enough to support them during this time. With Dana unable to work, they will need help covering bills, groceries, and day-to-day expenses while she focuses on healing. Dana is a dedicated mom to 3 kids who are stepping up to help at home—but they don’t have the means to buy groceries or handle household costs on their own.
