Dana has been diagnosed with Acute Leukemia. She is very ill and will no longer be able to work. After being on the couch for a month, she is now in Lacks Cancer Center for a minimum of 30 days while she is on chemo, with several tests in the next 3 weeks. Possible bone marrow transplant after this hospital stay. Doctors have projected if everything goes well, we will have a year recovery with 3 to 6 months of 24-hour home care. Myself and Cheri have been designated caregivers. We have a very long road ahead, not sure if we will have to take detours. Every prayer, every positive comment, get well card, donation, and thought is greatly appreciated and I cannot express my gratitude for the love everyone is showing!
