Help Dana, Drew & Sweet Baby Declan

Dana & Drew are living another nightmare as they pack up their lives AGAIN to head to Philadelphia to support with their sweet baby boy as he goes through a myriad of tests, pokes, pricks, and scans. Declan, Mom & Dad spent the first 162 days (5.5 months of Declan’s life in the hospital). Declan was diagnosed with Congential Hyperinsulinism and their journey continues outside of the hospital with extensive at home care. Although CHOP is a familiar place for them, but it doesn’t make it any easier. The Ronald McDonald House is full and lodging close to the hospital is full.

Let’s come together to help them at least have a place to stay and food to eat while they are in shock and go into battle for their baby boy, Declan, once again.

Below is Dana’s recap of what is going on with Declan.

Declan had what we think are several episodes of absence seizures in the last 24 hours, prompting a visit to Danville. They found an 8.5 cm mass of fluid on his brain and are currently doing a CT to

get more information. He'll be life-flighted to CHOP probably within the next 4-5 hours. Drew and I are once again, going

home to pack up our life for an unknown amount of time, and head to Philadelphia.

I don't even know what else to say other than we are devastated, in shock, scared, and a wide range of other emotions. This perfect little baby has already been through so much. Our family has already endured unbelievable strife. We're exhausted. Please give our family strength.
