Hi Everyone, This is not easy for me to write, but I’m reaching out because my daughter Dominique and I are currently facing a very difficult situation and are at risk of losing our home. Recently, Dominique was diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia, a condition that requires ongoing and intensive medical treatment. The costs of her care, along with frequent transportation to and from the hospital, have created an overwhelming financial burden at a time when we are already struggling. I have spent my career working as an Executive Assistant in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, and I take great pride in being reliable and self-sufficient. Unfortunately, after my most recent role ended, I have not been able to secure a new position quickly enough to keep up with our financial obligations. At the moment, unemployment and temporary disability is our only source of income. Dominique contributes what she can, and we share responsibility for our household, but the combined costs of rent, utilities, medical bills, and daily living expenses have become too much for us to manage. I am actively interviewing and doing everything I can to secure stable employment again, but we are in urgent need of support to prevent eviction and continue managing Dominique’s care.
