Help Dan Turn Up the Heat on Lyme Disease
I’ve been living with Lyme Disease for almost a decade. It’s been nothing short of hell. Despite being treated by numerous medical doctors, naturopaths, homeopaths and other healing professionals, and strictly adhering to a plethora of protocols, my condition is getting worse.
Disappointment after disappointment has been devastating and the out-of-pocket expenditure huge. Honestly, I don’t know if I can survive this nightmare much longer.
I’ve connected with a few fellow long-time Lyme sufferers recently who are finally feeling alive again and are firmly on the path toward healing after receiving Hyperthermia therapy: elevating the body temperature to 107 degrees Fahrenheit. This powerful treatment has proven to completely eradicate Borrelia, the bacteria that causes Lyme, as well as other chronic infections.
Heating up the entire body seems to be the only sure way to kill all of these insidious little monsters. The damage these pathogenic creatures can inflict is frightening. I’ve tested positive for autoimmunity (mixed connective tissue disease) and have all sorts of abnormalities on my lab reports.
My body is broken.
Although I’m not in a hospital bed or hooked up to life support, in a wheelchair or using a walker, my mostly invisible illness is killing me on every level.
Physically, I’m in a great deal of discomfort. Due to the severe pain and paresthesia in my face, malaise and anxiety, along with hypersensitivity to environmental toxins, including electromagnetic waves from WiFi, cell phones and computers, which worsen these symptoms, my relationships with friends and family have been cut off or significantly compromised.
Mentally and emotionally, I’m worn out and weary from all the years of suffering. The constant barrage of oppressive symptoms is overwhelming. So is the shame and loneliness that comes with a misunderstood illness and being unable to engage in work and social life. I feel isolated and alone most of the time.
My second career as a social worker has been completely derailed. Outside of a small disability check and help from my mother and stepfather, who’ve been incredibly generous yet so burdened by my affliction, I’m financially bankrupt. I need to get back on track.
My goal is to raise $35,000 to pay for a 2-week intensive Lyme/Hyperthermia program at Sanoviv Medical Institute, as well as some additional costs necessary for post-treatment recovery, including IV’s and supplements for extended detox and support.
Lyme has been extremely humbling. I make this plea with the utmost humility, understanding that you all have your own burdens and I’ve been out of touch, yet hoping you, my friends and family, colleagues and classmates remember me fondly and feel moved to help me overcome this hideous illness, once and for all.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will help me turn up the heat on Lyme Disease and then some. I fully expect to regain my health and vitality and pay your generosity forward. Amen.
