To all who have felt the love at Camp Connell, or have offered all those kind words when they came in for the first, or fiftieth time throughout the years, I want to thank you for your support, laughter, and all the memories so far!

I know this may be shocking, but this is my Hail Mary Pass with seconds on the clock, and some very large pass rushers out for me! Many of you know, I’ve poured my heart, soul, and life savings into Camp Connell, and it was always with the intention that someday, someone younger would see the vision and the opportunity that I’ve built so far.

For the past 2 years, behind the smiles and cheerfulness, this place has been a daily struggle. Through all the challenges, there was always the belief that tomorrow would be a better day. From the outside, it may look like we’re thriving, but behind the scenes, equipment failures, plumbing and electrical issues, utilities, taxes, and rising food costs have all piled up. As a small business, and one owner with limited resources, I can no longer carry this burden alone without your help.

What your support will do:

Keep the lights on till we can either bring on investors, complete the process to get the pizzeria up and running, and do whatever we can to serve you better, including keeping my amazing staff employed!

I have been overwhelmed for some time now because I kept thinking tomorrow would be a better day. Unfortunately, that will only be the case with your help and support! And yes, I’m embarrassed, humbled, and uncertain of the future of Camp Connell. I’m no longer as optimistic as I once was, but I hope you all can help change that!
