Hi, I'm Lisa and in case you don't know my husband, Dan, let me tell you a little about him...He is the life of the party...He is the guy that doesn't let anything bring him down...He is the guy that will always have a smile and roll with the punches even when life keeps throwing him struggle after struggle. Now let me tell you a little of his background. Dan and I have been together for 5 years, and in those 5 years he has had 3 heart attacks and 4 strokes. He just turned 43 years old. Dan has been in the hospital more times than I can count with endless amounts of tests and new symptoms. Unfortunately, doctors haven't been able to find the why. They have sent us to specialist after specialist and every one of them throws their hands up and says they don't know why. So here we are, waiting and wondering when the next episode will happen. Dan has been off of work for almost a year and we continue to try to keep life normal for our family. Every day he struggles with massive migraines and not feeling well from the amount of medications he is on and the toll all of this has taken on his body. He is constantly tired and worn out, but Dan is the guy that wants to spend every minute making memories and having fun because who knows what tomorrow will bring. So now we have an opportunity to get him treatments that have seen amazing results at helping to cure heart disease. The testimonies of the people that have been through the treatments are nothing short of a miracle. We know and believe that God put this in our path at the right time to help Dan feel better and keep him with us longer. I'm not ready to do this life without him. This doctor has been doing these treatments for over 40 years and it has cured countless people from many diseases. It is called Chelation Therapy and will give him a chance to feel normal and not be in pain. The problem is the cost. With him being off work for almost a year, we have normal monthly bills and the cost of raising boys and still trying to give them a normal life. For this treatment Dan will have to be away from home for 2 months staying in our motorhome. So along with the cost of the treatment we will need rent and utilities covered for the motorhome, groceries, gas, and transportation costs for me to be able to see him on weekends and make sure the boys can see him a couple of times a month. He will be about 4 hours away from home and that's not an easy travel with work for me and school for the boys during the week. Anything you are able to donate would help tremendously. We are going to do this treatment beginning in February and know that it is all in God's hands.
