My name is Daniel Simpson and on April 23rd 2021, I was admitted into the ICU for testing positive for COVID-19 and pneumonia. After being in a medically induced coma, paralyzed with a fever of 107 and going into a-fib, this has left me out of work for almost a month now. Due to the damage this has caused my health, I will be looking at taking a few more months off of work to keep focusing on my physical and speech therapy. I am only asking for help with bills, food, and to help support myself and my 1 year old daughter Naeema.

I want to also take this time to remind people just how real and serious COVID-19 is. This has just been the beginning of my journey, and I am happy to talk to anyone about my story.
