Help Dan Roeser Heal and Get Back in Saddle

I am a fellow IRCHA board member and Non Pro rider at Dan Roeser's barn - but really, Papa Dan is family. I know he is to so many other people too. On March 19, 2025 NRCHA Hall of Fame trainer, Dan Roeser, was in a serious horse training accident. He sustained injuries resulting in a life flight to the hospital. Traumatic injury to his left hand necessitated emergency surgery and he will need consecutive surgeries as he heals. He is also recovering from six broken and displaced ribs and collapsed lung. We all know he's the toughest cowboy out there, but what you can't tough out are the medical bills. Life flights are not covered by insurance and average $40,000 in Idaho. While we are confident he will heal up, there are a lot of unknowns and we don't know the extent of what these surgeries will cost. Due to the nature of his recovery and rehab, his training income and livelihood will be drastically affected over the next several months. Please help us support Dan by lifting some of this financial burden so he can focus on healing and getting back in the saddle.
