Hi there, my name is Dan and we have been going through a very tough situation. I have always done what I can to help others, but now I need help. I have been unemployed for some time due to medical issues the doctors couldn't find out a reason for until recently. After months of insurance denying an MRI, they finally approved it, and I was seen by a neurosurgeon. They have to do surgery on my spine very soon on 12/4/2025. It is very hard for me to grip anything with my left arm, and my head gets so heavy that only laying down helps some.

Being unable to work, we lost our place, and I'm now living in a van and trying to get on disability to help with recovery issues until I am able to return to work. However, disability will take months, and I'm not sure how well I will recover in a van, so I am reaching out in true need of help. I would like to be able to get a room to recover and have fuel to get back and forth to therapy until I can get back on my feet and do what needs to get done to move past this.
