***Third and final surgery update***

Below is a message from Dan, which was also shared as an update. He is finally at the end of a long road to recovery and regaining mobility. Please consider donating to help him make it through these final months until he can literally be back on his feet.

Hello friends and family, I wanted to give an update on my ankle. On March 27th I went in for ankle replacement surgery, something quite rare for someone my age. This is a very invasive procedure that I opted for due to the immense and constant pain I was living with for the last two years. I had run out of cartilage and was riddled with arthritis in my ankle. With the ankle replacement they were able to scrape out all of the scar tissue and arthritis and give me a new titanium/ polyurethane hinge system.

While this procedure will give me a new life on two feet, I unfortunately will not be able to work for close to three months. Any and all support is greatly appreciated. I’m so Lucky to have the people around me that have brought me food or just showed up to spend time with me while I’m stuck In bed. Love you fam <3

Hi, we at the Dollhouse are raising funds for our roommate and friend Dan, who was hit by a car on his motorcycle this weekend. He will not be able to work or walk for several months (the surgeon said it would be a year until full recovery) and was just released from the hospital after being there for 6 days. These funds will go towards his immediate expenses and making him more comfortable in his recovery until he can get back to work. We know everyone loves Dan and wants to see him make it through this really rough time.
