Help Dan Porter and His Family
Donation protected
Dan Porter, a loving husband, father, small business owner and a friend of OVR and many of our members, needs our help.
Dan was diagnosed with COVID-19 and hospitalized on November 23. He has battled severe illness for more than 2 months in the hospital on a ventilator. Dan was recently released to acute rehab care this past week.
Dan is the creative talent behind all of the Rallye Porsche Mariemont (RPM) posters that hang in many of our homes. Over the past two decades, Dan donated hundreds of hours of his time to OVR and our events, helping design hats, shirts, jackets, glasses, and many other items that OVR members received.
Dan runs a small, one-man business designing liveries and graphics for race teams and Porsche owners. His family income has suffered immeasurably during his extended illness. His rehabilitation is likely to take a long time. Mary, his wife recently updated his condition in CaringBridge with the following :
Dan was spontaneous breathing on his own for 4 hours
Engaging - responding - liping his words to the nurses
They extended him to 5 hours which he could not do. High heart rate and respiratory struggles
OVR and PCA pride ourselves on recognizing the great individuals in our organization and we are a family that helps one another. Dan is one of those great individuals who needs our help. Dan and his family thank you for any assistance you can provide.
