Help Dan McClure Overcome Dental Crisis
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Dan, and my wife and I, are unfortunately in a position where we have no other choice but to ask for your help.
I have been struggling with complicated dental issues since early childhood and as I approach my 37th birthday my dental
issues have progressed to the point where none of my teeth are salvageable anymore and are now causing serious health
complications that require immediate surgery. On July 1st I will be undergoing an extensive surgery to have all my teeth
extracted, as well as have reconstruction with a bone graft to repair my left nasal sinus cavity and my lower jaw, so that
4 upper and lower screws can be anchored which will hold one upper and one lower bridge of temporary teeth. This will
allow me to eat soft foods and function as normally as possible until my jaw heals and the screws are fully
embedded into the bone. Healing time is expected to be 3-6 months at which point a second surgery is required to have
my permanent bridges attached. Given my age and quality of life, dentures are not recommended, which is why we have
chosen to go with implants because they will last me the rest of my life and are more natural looking as well as more
functional. Unfortunately these surgeries and the follow up care are not covered by our dental insurance and will end
up costing just over $50,000. My wife and I are hardworking and are doing everything we can on our end to finance this, but
we don't have that kind of money and trying to finance all of it through loans is not feasible with our monthly income.
We are hoping to at least raise half the cost, $25,000, to help mitigate the financial burden. Your donation will
literally bring a permanent smile to my face and will allow us to keep our apartment.
From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for your consideration. God Bless!
