This fall, I plan to attend the Yale School of Management in pursuit of an MBA. After applying to and receiving a few scholarships (Consortium and Reaching Out MBA), I am asking for your financial support to help me cover the difference in tuition and school related fees.
Your contributions will go a long way in offsetting my loan-related debt so that I can prioritize and focus my professional efforts and resources towards making an impact in the world.
Over the last five years, I have worked at Cook Ross, consulting firm committed to transforming organizations all over the world into communities that honor and value diversity and inclusion. In my spare time, I volunteer regularly and serve on the board of Shepherd's Table, a community resource center that provides essential services including food, shelter, and medical care to people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Along with two former Cook Ross colleagues, I recently launched a non-profit, the Inclusion NextWork, as a virtual collaborative for emerging leaders dedicated to inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility, and social justice.
It is my hope that during and after my time at Yale, I will be able to continue building and supporting under-served communities. Your investments will enable me to do so both in the short term while in New Haven, and in the long term by resourcing a student, community member, and dedicated leader in his pursuit to leave the world a better place than he found it.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. My first semester fees are due by August 1st, 2018 and include:
-Tuition
-Room & Board
-Books
-School Fees
-Health Insurance
Thank you in advance for your consideration. If you have any questions or would like to connect further, please don't hesitate to reach out through GoFundMe.
