Dan was recently diagnosed with cancer and has already undergone surgery, followed by many ongoing doctor appointments and tests. At this time, doctors are still working to determine the exact type of cancer and how far it has progressed, which has made this an uncertain and emotionally heavy process.

This GoFundMe is being started later than most because Dan is incredibly humble and never wanted his diagnosis or situation to be widely shared. Asking for help does not come easily to him. However, as medical appointments continue and clarity around treatment is still being debated, the financial strain has quietly grown alongside the stress of the unknown.
