A whole life’s work gone for Dan “Bones” when flash flood water inundated the studio built alongside Sean, Nerve & my partner Smak.

within a 20 minute timeframe the building had been flooded by 5 foot of deluge and sewage water and only a fraction of the assets stored there were able to be recovered.

It’d been a hard hit for everyone but our heart goes out to Dan primarily as he has lost well over 100k worth of gear which he had collected for over 20 years and insurance doesn’t cover flooding.

Off the back of being in the music industry after 2 years of lockdowns, restrictions etc this is devastating, he has nothing left to fall back on.

Dan is a single Dad and this was his entire livelihood.

All the boys have suffered a substantial loss but it is agreed that our focus right now needs to be Dan.

Nerve, Smak and Sean can at least do some gigs and will get by but without the ability to record Dan has nothing left in this world.

Dan has contributed so much to the Brisbane and Australian music scene, from signing and working hands on with bands such as The Amity Affliction, Tonight Alive, Thy Art Is Murder and many Hip Hop artists and countless other bands and artists over the course of 20+ years. Dan has been an important figure for Australian music, working behind the scenes in venues, festivals, labels and studios. He has brought so much joy, knowledge, and quality art to the people here in Australia and abroad.
