We are trying to help out a local family who need some help at this time!

On Saturday January 15th, Dan Beall and his children were involved in an accident when a driver ran a stop sign in Bracebridge and T-Boned Dan’s car. The kids, Liam and Victoria, thankfully were unharmed but Dan sustained injuries and had to be taken to Sunnybrook Hospital. His spleen was bleeding into abdomen and his blood pressure and hemoglobin dropped very low.

The bleeding from the spleen is still active but has slowed down. He is in a great deal of pain and has a long recovery ahead of him with a minimum of 12 weeks off work. He has future follow up appointments at Sunnybrook and possible Physiotherapy for healing.

With Covid cases as active as they are, he has been released from the hospital and is at home on bedrest.

 

With Dan as primary income, and now being off work for at least a few months, we are trying to help the family out in any way possible as bills must be paid and insurance is not covering very much of anything. 3 months home, follow up trips to Toronto and Physiotherapy will add up quickly.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help through this time.

 

Dan is advised to get up and walk to prevent blood clots, but is obviously in a great deal of pain and Jen is having to help him with all mobility. We are then also looking for low cost medical items or items that can be lent to the family for Dan’s healing and recovery time and returned afterwards.
