Help Dan and Olivia Rebuild After Fire

My name is David McCarthy and on Saturday, April 20th, My brother and sister-in-law Dan and Olivia McCarthy, came home to find their brand new home was in flames. Buying in this market was tough enough but there were so many challenges I watched them overcome as new homeowners and brand new parents. And then just as they began to hit their stride, this devastating thing happens. They are blessed and lucky to be physically okay, but this was nearly a total loss and they'll be starting all over. It's unimaginable to me how this must feel, to lose all that you have, feeling lucky to be alive. My heart is broken for them. Olivia wrote this eloquent post the next day:

Things can be replaced but our loved ones and our animals can not be

Last night Dan and I came home to our worst nightmare - our new home on fire. All the animals were still inside and Dan fought his hardest to get them to safety. Tater, Simba, the bunny were out with little to no injuries, Mia was found by the firefighters barely hanging on in our bedroom. She is currently being treated by my wonderful old staff and friends at NEVCCC and she’s my little trooper. She is not out of the woods yet, so keep her in your thoughts. Dan and I were discharged from the hospital at 5am this morning, we are physically okay All animals accounted for, and Ollie not affected which is all we could hope for. The house will be replaced and all our goods will be too. We lost just about everything and will be out for almost a year, but everyone is alive Life will be different for a bit but we will get back to where we were

I'm asking for help in keeping my family stay afloat in the difficult months ahead while they rebuild their lives.
