On November 15th, Dan was involved in a serious motorcycle accident, which required his admission to St. Alphonsus Trauma Center in Boise. He sustained multiple injuries, including a severely damaged left shoulder, a fractured left hip, a broken rib, and a near-amputation of his right foot due to its entanglement in barbed wire. Dan spent 15 days receiving medical treatment. Thankfully, he survived the accident, attributed to God's grace and his decision to wear a helmet.
On December 2nd, Dan was transferred to a long-term care facility, where he will undergo an extended rehabilitation period, expected to last several weeks to months. Due to his brief employment tenure of three months, Dan is not eligible for FMLA benefits, resulting in the loss of his employment. According to his medical team, Dan is anticipated to require approximately eight weeks of recovery time.
Dan and Cynthia will be living solely on her income over the next several months. Their outgoing medical bills, prescription medications, rent, utilities, groceries, and truck payment exceeds Cynthia's income.
Any donation will ensure Dan and Cynthia can pay rent, utilities, and buy groceries over the next couple of months. Your support during this difficult time means the world to them, and they are deeply grateful for any help you can provide.
