Hi everyone, my name is Damon Scott.

As many of you know, I suffered an ischemic stroke on February 17, 2020, which left me with lasting disabilities on my right side. With God’s grace, and the incredible support of family and friends, I’ve come a long way in my recovery.

I’m not someone who easily asks for help—but today, I need to.

Over the past year, I’ve had multiple falls while getting in and out of the shower. It’s gotten to the point where my fiancée is afraid to leave me alone when I bathe, and I completely understand her concern.

Recently, I approached my landlord about installing a walk-in, ADA-compliant shower with a built-in bench for safety—and he agreed! The total cost for this upgrade is estimated at $3,000–$4,000.

I’m asking for your help to make this happen. Any donation—no matter the size—would mean the world to me and help make my daily life safer and more independent.
