Hi everyone, my name is Damion, and I'm reaching out to you with a heavy heart, both literally and figuratively. Recently, after suffering a mild heart attack, I was diagnosed with severe mitral valve prolapse along with congestive heart failure. This diagnosis has turned my life upside down and presented unexpected challenges that I'm struggling to face alone.

After months of feeling increasingly tired and short of breath, a trip to the ER revealed my condition and discovered that I required surgery which resulted in attaching a defibrillator/pacemaker to my heart and the need to take a barrage of medications. The costs associated with the treatment are substantial and are quickly becoming overwhelming. My current medical bills are already piling up, and along with the mental and emotional strain, I'm facing extreme financial hardships due to the costs associated with the diagnosis, lost income due to being unable to work, ect.
