On July 7th, our son Damien’s life changed forever. While on his way to work in San Antonio, Texas, Damien was struck in a horrific motorcycle accident that left his left leg crushed and his body severely injured. Doctors are fighting to save his leg, but he has only a 40% chance of keeping it.

Damien has already endured six major surgeries, including reconstructive procedures, skin grafts, and vascular repairs. The road ahead is long and uncertain, with additional surgeries, months of rehabilitation, and extensive medical care required for even a chance of a full recovery.

To make things even more challenging, Damien has been hospitalized since the crash and has been unable to work. His recovery is expected to last at least 4 months or more. The mounting hospital bills, rehabilitation costs, and living expenses are overwhelming.
