Help Damien fight Leukemia

Hello friends,

I am raising money on behalf of Deborah and Glenn, for their 5-year-old son, Damien. Damien was first diagnosed with Leukemia in April 2020.

He was treated as high risk, with a treatment of chemotherapy. He remained strong and the treatment was ongoing, allowing Damien to get back to being a fun-loving boy, who enjoys singing, playing with his toys and playing with his younger brother Zach.

Damien remained well for a little over a year and continued his treatment alongside, but unfortunately relapsed in October 2022. He is diagnosed with early isolated bone marrow relapse. He also tested positive for Covid-19, which he thankfully recovered from, and went through 2-cycles of vigorous chemotherapy. He remained strong and courageous as he spent a week in and out of the hospital getting his treatments.

His doctor’s advised his family that because of an early cancer relapse a bone marrow transplant would be the next course of action. The doctors shared that out of 8 bone marrow transplants they’ve done, 6 have been successful and 2 have had relapses after the transplant. With the hopes that their son will have a successful treatment, Deborah and Glenn have gotten Zach, their 2-year-old son tested to see if he is a match to be a donor for Damien's bone marrow transplant.

Since Damien has zero immunity, it is necessary for him to be admitted at the hospital, for the past 3 weeks, which has been very costly. His bone marrow transplant is roughly 10M PKR (60K CAD).
