My name is Cassie, and I’m raising funds to support my parents, Damien and Laura, as they navigate a new major medical journey.

On February 3rd, my dad, Damien, had a below-the-knee amputation. This surgery was necessary for his health, but it will bring many physical, emotional, and financial challenges for our family.

Following the amputation, Damien will require a prosthetic limb. At this time, we are still unsure how much of his prosthetic, fittings, and rehabilitation will be covered by insurance, and much of this cost may be out of pocket.
