I’m trying to raise money to get our neighbor Damian off the street. He was recently beat up, glasses broken(who does that?), his phone smashed, and his belongings trashed. This kid is 90 lbs soaking wet and a threat to no one. I don’t know his whole story, but I know he’s disabled and has been homeless for 3+ years. You’ve probably seen him by the bridge on Plain St. or near Auto Zone. He doesn’t appear to be drug-addicted; he’s never asked me for cash. I’m really not trying to watch him die out there. I know many have helped him out, but I know a group effort can do much more and give him an actual chance. I will used money raised for his immediate needs like warm clothes and new glasses. My ultimate goal to help him find and secure a place to stay.
