My name is Damian Thomas, and I am a student at the University of Texas at Dallas. I have always believed that education is the key to building a better future, but right now, my future is uncertain. Both of my kidneys have failed, and I am in a constant battle to stay alive while pursuing my degree.

I need regular dialysis treatments to survive, and the costs of medical bills and insurance are overwhelming. On top of that, I have been recommended for a kidney transplant, which comes with even more financial burdens. Despite these challenges, I am determined to continue my education and work toward my dreams.
