Hi, my name is Damani Brown, and I’m currently an Exercise Science major and student-athlete at Rutgers University–New Brunswick in New Jersey. My dream is to become a physical therapist/athletic trainer so that I can help others achieve their best health and improve their physical performance.

With the recent increase in tuition and reduction in student aid, I’m facing difficulty covering the cost of my academic education. For this semester alone, I need to raise about $4,000 by October and I’ll be facing a similar bill in the spring semester.

Despite working two jobs over the summer to contribute as much as I could, I still find myself short of what I need to remain in the university and continue my studies. My tuition bill for this semester and next semester will be around the same, hence the $8,000 goal.

The money raised would go directly toward covering my tuition so that I can stay enrolled at Rutgers and continue my studies without falling behind on my grades.

I asked my grandma to help me create this account. I am also reaching out to my community, family, friends, and supporters for help in offsetting these costs so that I can continue to enhance my athleticism in track training and stay on track towards earning my degree. Any amount you are able to give will make a huge difference and will bring me one step closer to my goals.
