Please help my long-time friends pay off their Reverse Mortgage.

Before the Eaton fire destroyed their home in Altadena, they lived a modest but comfortable life with their small pensions and monthly monies from a Reverse Mortgage. Without help, after paying off the Reverse Mortgage, they will not have sufficient funds to rebuild or buy elsewhere.

My children played with Dalva's children when they were in grade school; these "children" are now in their 50s! Dalva and I are both immigrants with similar backgrounds. We both worked for American families when we arrived in the USA. We met when we both lived in Echo Park. Dalva and her family moved first, and then we left Echo Park. We remained friends, meeting periodically for lunch and meeting each other's Brazilian/English family members.

My prayer is that this good, hard-working family will be able to continue to live in a home of their own.
