Early in the morning, around 2 a.m., a devastating tornado tore through the area near 89th and Sooner Rd in Oklahoma City, displacing Dalton, Elexis, their young daughter Serenity, and their two beloved dogs. In addition to the tornado’s damage, flooding has taken nearly everything they had. Now, they’re left trying to rebuild from the ground up, without a home or many essentials.
This tragedy follows a series of hardships: they recently lost both of their cars in accidents where they were struck by other vehicles, leaving them without transportation. As if these challenges weren’t enough, Dalton recently lost his father and is currently planning his father’s services during this incredibly trying time.
We’re reaching out to the community, friends, and family to help support this wonderful family as they begin to pick up the pieces. Funds raised will go directly towards:
• Temporary housing and basic necessities to help them get through the immediate days ahead.
• Replacement of essential items that were lost to the storm and flooding.
• Support for rebuilding costs as they work toward rebuilding their home.
• Assistance with transportation to replace their vehicles, which were recently totaled.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in helping Dalton, Elexis, and Serenity get back on their feet during this challenging time. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page to help us reach others who may be able to help.
Thank you for your kindness and support during this time.
