Hi, my name is Dalton Couture, and recently, my world was turned upside down. After several unexpected trips to the emergency room, countless hours in MRI machines, visits to specialists, a spinal tap, and finally connecting with a neurologist and surgeon—I received a life-changing diagnosis: Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

This journey has been physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausting. For weeks, I experienced unexplained symptoms and uncertainty. Now, while it’s a relief to have answers, the road ahead is going to be challenging.

With this diagnosis comes tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills—from hospital visits to testing, and now, long-term medication and treatment to manage this disease and work toward a “normal” life again.

As someone who’s always tried to stay strong and independent, it’s extremely difficult for me to ask for help. But the reality is—I need it.
