Hi! I’m Aunt Denise. My nephew (Dalton Owens) and his wife recently returned back to the US after being stationed in Germany. They quickly settled in North Carolina, where his beautiful wife (Ceidee) continues to serve in the Army. They blessed us all with the news of their first baby, a baby girl, set to arrive in July of 2022.
On Monday evening, March 14th, I received the terrible news that Dalton was severely injured in a horrible, life altering motorcycle accident on his way home from work. My brother and his wife (Michael and Teresa Owens), living nearly 1000 miles away, quickly packed up and raced to be at his side.
Dalton is alive because he wore his helmet, however his injuries are substantial.
In two short days he has already endured three major surgeries with many more on the horizon. A new baby on the way, and his wife by his side, they need so much help.
The medical expenses, loss of wages, at least a full year of rehabilitation, travel for family to help him rehabilitate and heal with a new summer baby are just a few of their expenses. We have no idea what the future holds or how hard this road will truly be, yet at the moment we are thrilled he is here and he is fighting.
We do know they NEED financial assistance.
