Funeral Services for Dallas Johnson

This is my brother, Dallas Johnson. He lives in Cairo but worked in Thomasville. He was in an automobile accident in July 2024 and has been in ICU since. He has multiple issues and broken bones throughout his body. He was moved from Archbold to Select Specialty in Tallahassee, where he remains in ICU. He had surgery on his broken neck vertebrae and is still recovering. It has been a roller coaster ride with many ups and downs over the last few months. He is still here and still fighting, praise the Lord. Without a doubt, this will be a very long journey towards recovery. He has had breathing issues because one side of his diaphragm is paralyzed. He has continued to fight utilizing one lung. He is a father of two children whom he loves. The children reside with their mother, and he is still responsible for their support. Life continues although he is in the hospital. Monthly bills continue to come. Insurance has been a fight, and we have learned that we may need to pay for future therapy out of pocket. I will do whatever it takes to get him the help he needs to regain his life back. There are many others that are doing the same to help him. His friend Loren is looking after his home and bills for the family, and she will oversee any money we get on this platform. We can't do this alone. We need everyone's help. This will not be the only means for fundraising. The family is planning drawings for items, a poker run, and at some point, we will sell food plates. We are trying to keep his home life secure so that when he does recover and go home, he will have no worries other than to get better. This will help him get the best therapy possible. The doctors have told him that he is lucky to be alive. God still has plans for him! I will continue to update his journey through this platform and Facebook.
