Help Dallas get the home care he needs
I am writing on behalf of a beautiful family who is lost in the black hole of healthcare. Lindsey and James are community workers as a nurse and a sheriff who have dedicated their lives to helping the community. They have a beautiful son named Dallas who has a genetic medical condition that is complex and progressive. Currently they are camped out at Advent Health Children's Hospital and are FIGHTING to get the necessary care and resources for their child for when he comes home. After exhaustive efforts trying to navigate their childs care through insurance, social work and medicaid, they are still being denied necessary resources that is necessary for his survival. They have taken time off of work to be with their child and are at the point of needing financial resources to help their boy. As a community I KNOW we can help this young deserving family in their time of need. First, if you have any insight in how to navigate the insurance and home health care system for complex medically needy pediatric patients, I know they would be grateful for guidance. Second, if you feel compelled to financially give, it would be for the betterment of Dallas's care, equipment, and therapies that insurance is not covering. Dallas has started bi-pap and feeding through a g-tube just his week. He needs to get home and get stronger as his will to fight remains. His parents need a break and that's where we can help. I thank you in advance for any help you can give.
