Help Dalila Return to LSU for Cybersecurity Degree
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Dalila, and I’m raising funds to return to Louisiana State University and complete my degree in Information Systems and Analytics with a concentration in Cybersecurity.
I had to take a break from college during my junior year due to a serious ankle injury. Navigating recovery while managing adult responsibilities—and doing so in the aftermath of COVID—was incredibly tough. But during that time, something unexpected happened: I discovered my passion for technology.
While working at a local phone repair shop, I realized how much I loved solving tech problems and helping others. I even started a small business fixing phones, which gave me confidence and purpose. Through hands-on experience and a lot of self-reflection, I found the perfect major for me: cybersecurity. I’m now more motivated than ever to return to LSU and turn this passion into a career.
Unfortunately, when I left LSU, I didn’t know I had an unpaid balance on my account. That balance is now holding me back from registering for my Fall 2025 classes. I’m asking for your support to help pay off this balance and cover some of my upcoming tuition so I can finally finish what I started.
Your support—no matter the amount—means the world to me. Every donation brings me one step closer to earning my degree and starting a career in cyber risk and security. I’ve come a long way, and with your help, I know I can make it all the way.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting my journey!
