Dalila is a bright and adventurous 13-year-old who was born with cerebral palsy. She loves being outside more than anything, but her mobility challenges make it difficult for her to enjoy the activities she loves. Dalila is not steady walking by herself and has difficulty seeing, especially outdoors. Because of this, she generally needs assistance when walking and can’t go far without taking breaks.

Until recently, Dalila was able to join her family on walks and participate in special needs baseball using a typical jogging stroller. Now, she has outgrown her stroller, and a wheelchair isn’t always practical for the rural areas where she lives. Unfortunately, insurance won’t cover the cost of a new, larger stroller. An adult jogging stroller would open up so many opportunities for Dalila—she could once again join her family on camping trips, enjoy walks on trails, and take part in the activities that bring her so much joy.
