Help Dalia Heal

Hi,

On behalf of the local soccer community, we would like to start a fundraiser for Dalia Gonzalez. Dalia is an 18-year-old College of the Desert student, recent Indio High School graduate, and prominent soccer player for multiple teams throughout the Coachella Valley, having started playing for AYSO at the age of 4.

On Tuesday, 08/09/2022, Dalia was in a tragic car accident while on her way to College of the Desert, which admitted her into the ICU. Dalia suffered multiple broken bones, a punctured lung, and severe head injuries. She continues to fight through surgeries and procedures in the hospital and will need months of rehabilitation and recovery following her discharge from the hospital. Her mother and father, Angelina and Jesus, are at her side daily through these enduring times fighting with her.

Medical treatments are costly and current income will only support so much, having two brothers at home. Any donations given will go directly to the family to assist in any present financial obstacles that may be introduced.
