Dale is 59 years old and was diagnosed with lung cancer in January. Just yesterday, our family received the devastating news that it is stage three. He has already endured the heartbreak of losing two close family members to lung cancer, which makes this diagnosis even more difficult to process. Dale has always been the main provider for his wife, Betty, and his disabled stepson, Tommy, working hard to make sure they are cared for. Since his diagnosis, Betty has had to take on extra hours just to make ends meet and keep up with mounting medical bills, when she should be able to focus on supporting Dale and spending precious time together.
