Hi, I am Dale Ommodt's daughter in law. A week before Christmas, Dale became ill with Covid. His breathing declined quickly and has been hospitalized since December 23rd. It was very touch and go for several days, but he has remained steady since New Year's Eve. Dale continues to be on an advanced oxygen machine (Hydro Flow) administering 60 liters of oxygen. He is also being monitored for blood clots in his lungs. They do have him on a blood thinner. We are not sure how long he will remain in the hospital or if he will have to go to a rehab after he is discharged. We do know that he is going to need a lot of support, financially, physically and emotionally.

Dale is a single, self-employed man. He is the owner of Crop and Livestock Nutrition in Atwater. He owns a home between Spicer and Willmar. Dale is also a member of the Spicer American legion and is the Gambling Manager there.

My husband, Don, is trying to help keep Dale's business afloat, but it is difficult as Don also works full-time with the National Guard. Our family is doing our best to take care of Dale, his business, bills and home. His health insurance deductible for 2021 and 2022 will be paid and it should cover his medical bills. Our goal is to stay current on his mortgage and other bills in effort to not have to sell Dale's personal belongings or his business equipment. We will begin selling some belongings in order to keep him from losing his home or business.

If you know Dale, you know what kind of man he is. He is a positive, loving and giving person. He is a hard worker and loves his family and friends fiercely. He is the pillar of our family and we desperately want to help him in his time of need. Please help us lift Dale up financially so that he may focus on his recovery.
