Help Dale Jimenez during the fight of his life
Donation protected

As some of you know but many don't, our beautiful cousin Dale, is in a fight for his life.
Dale (46) is a dedicated father to Max, Will and Lucy and a loving husband to Sarah.
He is a cherished son of Mona and Alex Jimenez.
A brother, uncle, in-law, nephew, cousin, friend and more.
For over 7 years, Dales respiratory health has declined due to poor working conditions throughout his career as a Lift Technician.
Once, a strong, fit, healthy, family man, Dale has received a diagnosis of Pulmonary Fibrosis, caused by breathing in chemicals while working on the lifts.
Pulmonary fibrosis is a lung disease that occurs when lung tissue becomes damaged and scarred.
This thickened, stiff tissue makes it harder for the lungs to work properly.
Pulmonary fibrosis worsens over time.
Some people can stay stable for a long time, but the condition gets worse faster in others. As it gets worse, people become more and more short of breath.
The lung damage caused by pulmonary fibrosis cannot be repaired.
With now only 30% lung function, Dales physical health has so rapidly declined he is now in critical need of a lung transplant.
Without a transplant, he has been given less than 12 months to live.
The physical, emotional and financial stress of this news and the decline prior to now, has also caused Dale severe mental turmoil (imagine having panic attacks on top of only having 30% lung function)- its unfathomable and frightening.
Dale is now bedridden, relies on oxygen 24/7 to breathe and requires full-time care from his Wife Sarah.
It is dire that Dale can push through and gain strength enough to stay eligible for a transplant.
Now that Sarah is Dale's full-time caregiver, they are in financial despair due to neither of them being able to work.
Dale is entitled to very little financial support this being the reason for a GoFundMe.
With household and medical bills accumulating, the cost of living and affording to provide for Max, Will and Lucy, we are making Dale and Sarah's battle public with hope that our families, friends and generous strangers, could assist in relieving the financial stress.
Dale has an enormous fight ahead of him including months of hospital and rehabilitation when he finally receives a transplant match.
We are so thankful for any contributions!
With the sincerest gratitude,
From The Jimenez and extended Family.
