Help Dakota Travel to Jamaica and Utah for RUGBY!

Hello to all…lol, anyways My name is Dakota Faulkner. And I’m a very dedicated student athlete who has been playing the game of rugby since the fourth grade. Around then I fell IN LOVE with everything about the game. The brotherhood, passion, the grit, it all made me into who I am today on and off the field. Meanwhile, my education has thrived since I was young. I started my Freshman year of high-school off with a plan to graduate normally, but my counselors provided me with ways to take early college courses and I’ve been doing so since. I maintain anywhere from a 3.7-4.0 GPA, with all honors classes and above. I should be graduating high school with my associates degree in English and in Science. My favorite subject is english, as I love how you can write and put many different stories and perspectives on a page. I plan to double major in education and a type of sports medicine, such as personal training or physical therapy while in college. I dream to play the game i cherish so much at the next level, and continue to work to gain that dream. But as I said, Rugby has been my biggest factor in my life. I started playing with Mad River Indians rugby club with head coach, Chris Shreel. Then i gained an opportunity during that to represent EIRA(Eagle Impact Rugby Academy) in achieving their win in Colorado at a young age, that was a wonderful experience. Then I went on to play at our local club for high school, The Northern Force. They have granted me so many opportunities from winning state championships, to getting an Invite from the USA south Panthers to play in Utah in 2022 at the NAI 7’s tournament. The club ran by my head coach, Matt Tracey, has done wonders for me, and has pushed me to be the best me possible. And also helped me get the opportunity to play with the Midwest Thunderbirds, Organization ran by Eddie Abel against the Panthers this summer. And being there, gave me an even BIGGER opportunity… I know right? I got invited to play with USA South Panther Rugby Academy in the Americas North U19 tournament, representing USA in Kingston Jamaica! This is a true blessing, and I am honored to even be able to say I gotten the invite to play.

2 short days after that event i was also invited to another in Salt Lake City Utah, the Nai 7’s tournament to play with Rebel Rugby Academy. Being invited to this and just being recognized as a player feels amazing. And these opportunities to play in so many different places will grant me connections, insights, possible college scholarships and so many more positive things for my future.

The funding for these two trips, is a lot more than the previous trips in a very short amount of time. I am reaching out to ask you if you're able and willing to help we would appreciate it!
