Dakota Podlaski was murdered on 5/27/2020. This random killing has left us, his huge group of friends and family in shock and dismay. I am organizing this fundraiser so his family may be able to bury him. He was only 20 years old, just turning his life around, finally found a good girlfriend and job, just bought his first bike and his first car... Dakota was loyal, kind, generous, and full of life. He leaves behind a legacy of haunt acting that will not soon be forgotten. He is pictured here as his character Bunny. He was the first to jump up to help clean, to cover someones spot, to help in anyway beyond his normal tasks. He was devoted to his craft, to his team, and to making sure all guests coming through the haunt left either entertained or terrified.  Dakota Podlaski and his family never had much, but it never stopped them from being kind and generous. He was a devoted uncle, brother, son and boyfriend, always going the extra mile to make sure the people in his life knew they were loved. He had such pain inside of him, but it was never taken out on those he loved. He took his pain and turned it into motivation to be kinder, gentler, wiser than those who wronged him.  People as genuine as Dakota are so rare and so precious.
