My sister Dakota is facing a tough battle right now. She has schizophrenia and is currently experiencing a severe psychosis episode. This has led her to be hospitalized for her safety and well-being, as she has escaped twice in the middle of the night and was picked up by the police, not knowing where she was. Our mom, who is Dakota’s full-time caregiver, is not able to work while Dakota is hospitalized. This means that while Dakota is in the hospital, our family is not only worried about her health but also struggling to keep up with everyday bills and expenses.

Dakota does not know who we are right now. She cannot come home until she is stable and has received the care she needs. The funds raised will help with medical bills, private inpatient stays, and managing household bills during this difficult time.
